Introducing Our Newest Addition to the Mineral Family: Carnelian

Carnelian is a brownish red to orange variety of the mineral Chalcedony (which is a form of quartz). The color of the stone can vary within each sample from pale yellow and orange to darker orange and reddish brown in different areas.
