- Mini Me Geology’s rock and mineral kits are designed to spark an interest in the Earth and science with collections of 6 to 20 fantastic rocks and minerals.
- Mini Me Geology products are ideal for elementary through high school-aged kids and parents interested in science, homeschool families and science school teachers.
- My Rockin’ Collection! Kits (Deluxe & Junior):
- Each rock and mineral comes with a customized identification card, which includes a photo and fun facts such as color, hardness, type, content, uses, locales, and interesting features.
- Customers can identify each mineral using the streak plates (mineral kit), hand magnifier, and identification cards.
- Customers can go to the Mini Me Geology website to print instructions on how to perform tests to identify their rocks and minerals and also an additional identification flow chart to help identify each sample.
- Recommended ages 6 to adult.
- Rock Detective Kits:
o Customers are able to use the information on the included CD and the hand magnifier to identify their samples and to learn about the different themes of each kit.
o Each CD features educational information as well as fun activities and games that can be performed by themselves and with their friends and family.
o Recommended ages 6-12.
- Rock Cycle Kit:
o Features fives samples each of minerals, igneous rocks, metamorphic rocks and sedimentary rocks.
o Customers are able to use the information on the included CD to identify their samples and to learn about the different themes of each kit.
