When asked to visit her child’s classroom to talk about her career, Tracy Barnhart knew the children wouldn’t quite understand the intricacies of her position at an environmental consulting firm.  Instead she took a bunch of rock, mineral and gemstone samples and told them what a geologist does.  The kids were intrigued.  This reaction set Barnhart on a new mission.  Today, Mini Me Geology is committed to giving educators and children the highest quality of rock and mineral samples from around the world and information to encourage interest in and learning of geology.  The company emphasizes learning by providing articles, projects, newsletter, relative current event information, ID accessories.  Everything children need to enjoy and understand the science of geology.  www.minimegeology.com
