School Mineral Collection - Set of 5

Our mineral collections are great for elementary students who want to learn about the amazing world of mineral formation and properties. Each collection comes with a sample of augite, calcite, fluorite, gypsum, halite, kyanite, magnetite, olivine, amethyst, and sodalite.  An identification sheet is also included which gives introductory information on the color, hardness, streak, luster, uses, locales and unique features of the minerals along with a sample photo.  Box includes five sets of minerals and five identification sheets.

The rocks can be stored in the cardboard box or have the kids decorate egg cartons to make a unique and personalized storage box. White streak plate, black streak plates and hand magnifiers are sold separately and are great for use in mineral identification.
