Oolitic Limestone Sedimentary Rock

Oolitic Limestone Sedimentary Rock.  White, Pink, Red, Gray or Black sedimentary rock composed of mostly calcite oolites.  Oolites which form when layers of calcite are deposited around a sand grain or fossil piece and are rolled around in calm water, which makes them round.  An information card with details on the rocks formation, mineral content, characteristics and uses is included.
