Muscovite Mica
|
Muscovite is a gray to silver colored mica that may at times be white, brown, rose or green. Platy mica forms as a “book” with super thin sheets that you can flake apart with your fingernail. Nice samples of muscovite are found in the United States, Canada, Switzerland and Italy among other locations. An information card with details on the rocks formation, mineral content, characteristics and uses is included.
